Case study: January 7th, 2017.

Strong rains cause flooded streets, isolating neighborhoods and causing the temporary closure of a subway station in São Paulo (news here, here, here and here). In the Paraiba Valley cities, the heavy rain and strong wind gusts caused floods and the fall of trees (news here)
