Case study: March 14th, 2017

Atmospheric instability due to the influence of a cold front system caused heavy rain in several cities of the study region (news here and here). Hail was reported in Campinas, near to the division with Indaiatuba (personal communication Profa. Dra. Rachel Ifanger Albrecht) and Jacarei (news here).
