Case study: February 6th, 2017

The storms on São Paulo state on this day were accompanied by wind gusts of up to ~80 km/h in São Paulo metropolitan region and up to ~76 km/h in Campinas; hail reported in Guarulhos, and the incidence of lightning strikes in the region was high (news here , here , here , here and here).
